About Us
We are a family orientated barn, striving to bring the joy of riding to people of all ages. Our trainers instruct students on all aspects of horses. We provide numerous services that are tailored to everyone's individual needs including classical dressage, eventing, western dressage, and therapeutic sessions for adults and children with disabilities with an certified instructor. We specialize in starting beginners with their riding careers, no matter their age!
Our focus is to make sure each rider accomplishes successfully their basic balanced position, independence, horsemanship, and safety. We offer an experience that you will not find anywhere else. Here in a family environment we teach teamwork, strong work ethics, problem solving, and awareness to your environment.
We not only offer lessons, but other events to offer all ages the opportunity to be around horses and our other animals. Check out our events on the "Events at The Farm" tab.
Danielle
The beginnings of her riding career was a solid foundation that she learned through The United States Pony Club. Danielle is a Graduate C3 from Cohutta Highlanders Pony Club, having competed in many regional rallies as well as many Championships in Show Jumping. Most of her riding career was specialized in Eventing and Classical Dressage. Also competing in IEA (Chattahoochee High) and IHSA (Kennesaw State). More recently, riding Western Dressage, completing the Western Dressage Associations' Train the Trainers Program.
Most recently, she has discovered the "Ray Hunt" style of horsemanship. This is focused on the human to horse connection of communication to create a mutual balanced relationship. Through this way of training, she has been introduced and continue to learn more with those who have trained under Ray Hunt or Buck Brannaman; Tom Curtin and Kathleen Beckham.
She is a current PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor.(CTRI) as well as a certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning through PATH. (ESMHL) Having a strong background in horses in addition to a Psychology degree, she can give students a well rounded lesson of horsemanship as well as the therapeutic benefits of horses.

The focus of her lesson is to create a well rounded aware horseman, teaching all the important proper riding techniques, and implementing fun ways to engage the rider including instruction on complete care of the horses.
Rachel
Rachel is a PATH Certified Therapeutic Instructor, she has been teaching for nine years, teaching both typical and therapeutic students. Rachel has owned and shown her horse Liza for 17 years, they competed in local hunter/jumper shows. Rachel is a Special Education Teacher in Cherokee Co. With her background in Special Education, Rachel is able to customize her lessons to their needs and learning style. Rachel is wonderful with starting students with basic position and confidence!
